About Mellingfield

Mellingfield is the textile collection of artist Melinda Satterfield. She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. After spending over two decades as a surface pattern designer and fashion illustrator, she decided to trade the hustle and bustle of Manhattan for the serene shores of Rhode Island. 

The ocean and the beach provide endless inspiration and sources of comfort. With much less distractions and a lot more quiet, Melinda is able to focus on designing and making art.

The collection is designed for interiors and produced to order, allowing each textile to be created as needed. She is happy to customize existing prints for your individual projects.
