New England farmhouses, forests with forgotten stonewalls, and rocky beaches dotted the landscape of my childhood and continue to be favorite places to explore.  Some of my most cherished memories are driving through the countryside and wandering through craft fairs and art shows.  A few years ago, I returned to country living–I moved to Rhode Island after living in Manhattan and working in the fashion industry for almost twenty years. The nearby park and ocean are beloved sources of comfort and inspiration.

I’m interested in contrast and paradox, in the way flowers are both delicate and powerful in their ability to transform and uplift, and in the beauty of decay and patina of erosion.

My fine art works share a love for bright colors and texture. The abstract shapes are meant to tug on memories and evoke feelings of an experience, a flower or a loved one.
